National Institute of Science & Technology (NIST) was established in 1993 to develop & promote science & technology, to make science education more effective and to provide services in the scientific & technological fields to the public as well as private sectors for their all-around development. NIST, a non-profit, autonomous and non govermental organization is solely devoted to the development of Science & Technology and aims at building science & technology capability including high skilled manpower in the country.
